Hi Tonya. You know, I looked at the picture, went back to the blog, looked at the picture, went back to the blog, looked at the picture again. (you get the idea)...and I just could not see Knoah...I actually said to myself...is that Knoah...no, its not. I even rationalized...no, that doesn't look like Tonya. So it is funny that this post transpired from that. You accomplished your goal...I only saw a picture perfect baby boy. However, I LOVE Knoah's pictures...they are one of my favorite things about your blog. My personal favorite is the one at the ball game.

I think all of our kids are more than perfect....I see other children now and wonder, "did my kids look that strange...long and lean, lanky and gawky, with tiny heads?" And so many people agree with me. They are such beautiful babies.

I know someday things will change and their differences will not be so easily overlooked by others. And it breaks my heart to know that they will each experience that probably at a time when life is the most difficult for them. If I could take that away and impose it upon myself instead I would gladly do it for each and every one of them. When that time does come, I hope I will have what it takes to express to Bryan how much joy he has brought to our family, and how his differences have made our lives into something wonderful that never would have been otherwise, and how his differences have given our family a greater ability to care for one another, and the ability to love at a deeper level. I also hope to be able to show him how his life has introduced us to wonderful, loving families who we otherwise would have never known. And how he has taught us to take true, unconditional love a step further. I hope sometime between now and then God grants me the ability to make him understand that when he will need it most. If I can do that, I will be able to give him a small portion of what he has already brought to our family.

Candi
YaYa to Bryan

P.S. Bryan will be one in one week and one day. We have so much to CELEBRATE!
