I wish we had found this information six years ago our daughter had symptomatic of Foreman Magnum compression our doctor was treating her for reflux !! because she was vomiting so much she fitted and had blue episodes and has spinal cord damage around the Foreman Magnum and C1 and C2 then we had a second opinion she was rushed into surgery for decompression and laminectomy of C1 and C2 when she woke up from surgery she (for the first time )was able to bring her hands together (10 months)celebration !!!

fern didnt have an MRI. we were told to look out for the signs you list re the foramen magnem. she didnt sedate for the MRI and they never re-scheduled! she had an ultrasound to assess for hydrocephalus via the fontanels before they closed up.

Wow, it’s hard to believe that we went thru all of those tests – oftentimes more than once. : ) Seeing the L-O-N-G list makes it even seem more overwhelming.
