Alex you are a nasty fool but God sees that and will make sure you get what you have coming. Good luck with that attitude, it's likely to get you nowhere fast!

Knoah? Seriously? You gave your child a silent "K" in his name? As if he isn't different enough as it is. Dear parents: Stop giving your kids stupid names.

Congratulations on your lil guy , he is Precious. I had my baby July 29. this year, they are truely blessings.
Did you have your diagnosis right away? My friends son Dakota will be a year old in Jan.2010, he is tiny, he hasn't been diagnosed yet, he eats all day and dosn't get any bigger. I told her I would check to see if I could find a specialist online, can you suggest anyone? Social Services, sent him to the hospital for two weeks( With a possible failure to thrive case.) Did't gain an ounce! He is placed with his auntie for one month and still no results on his blood work.I have a pick you can see how little he is.

Hi.... Ur baby boy is precious! My husband and I are having a little girl any day now and doctors and specialists have told us to be prepared for our little Jemma to have achondroplasia. Our doctors haven't been very helpful with her diagnosis. We have actually done an enormous amount of research on our own from the complications at birth to different limitations that we will have as she grows. I'm not sure what kind of advice or information u can share with me but it makes me feel more comfortable to be able to reach out to someone else that has been blessed with a special baby like mine. I'm not sure what her delivery will be like or what to expect and our doctor wasn't even aware that they suggest a c-section for achon babies. That made us uncomfortable not to mention the fact that he's never delivered a baby with any kind of dwarfism . He seemed as though he thought we were over-reacting when we were disappointed because we asked him questions at our appointments and he had no answers to give us. Well, I guess I just don't know what to expect. He wanted to induce us at 37 weeks because he was going on vacation despite our concerns with her complications. He seemed irritated because we told him we wanted to give her every chance to grow and develop and let her come on her own. He is known for not letting any patient go over 38 weeks because he said it's not good on the baby but why else would a pregnancy last 40 weeks. Babies come when they are ready not just when the doctor feels it is convenient to them... Right?

Congratulations on Knoah. Our daughter had a baby in January 2008 who was born with Achondroplasia. I know what you mean about dressing being a challenge. Davyn wears a 6-9mo top and 0-3mo pants. Shoes are another issue. Our daughter is on top of his medical treatment since she is in the Army. They are visiting us in Texas now so we took him to a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon today who was recommended by his Pediatrician here in Texas. They were surprised that a Skeletal Survey has not been done as of yet.

Best of luck with Knoah.
